WHAT IS THE EXPERICANCE LIKE?​

 

 

We offer a bespoke permanent jewellery experience, with a curated collection of chains and charms designed to be mixed, matched, and personalised.

​

Guided by our trained welding technicians, you’ll select your chain, have it measured and cut to size, and then seamlessly micro-welded directly onto your wrist, ankle, or neck. The weld takes just seconds and is carried out without high heat or chemicals, making the process quick, safe, and straightforward.​​​

DOES THE WELDING HURT?​

​

​

​

No. The welding process is applied only to the chain, never the skin. 

​

​

IS THE WELDING PROCESS SAFE ​​​​​

​

Yes. Your safety is our top priority. A protective barrier is used during the weld, and all equipment is designed specifically for jewellery micro-welding.

​

All pieces are fitted and welded in studio by trained professionals.​​​​​​​​

HOW MUCH DOES PERMANENT JEWELLERY COST?

​

Prices vary depending on the chain, material, and any optional charms chosen.
Our team will guide you through the available options during your appointment, with prices typically ranging from £45 to £85.

The welding service is included in the price of the chain.

​

​WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE? 

​

We offer permanent jewellery in:

• 14ct gold filled

• 925 sterling silver

​

​​

These materials are chosen for durability, skin safety, and everyday wear. Solid gold may be available by request.​​​​

IS GOLD FILLED JEWLLERY HYPOALLERGENIC?​

 

 

Gold filled jewellery is nickel-free and generally well tolerated, even by those with sensitive skin. While no metal can be guaranteed hypoallergenic for everyone, gold filled and sterling silver are considered safe choices for the vast majority of people.

If you have a known metal allergy or medical concern, please let us know before your appointment.

 

 

​CAN I SHOWER, SWIM, OR EXERCISE WHILE WEARING IT?​

 

 

Yes. Permanent jewellery is designed for daily wear and can be worn while showering, swimming, exercising, and sleeping.

As with all fine jewellery, avoid unnecessary pulling or snagging.​

 

 

IS PERMANENT JEWELLERY REALLY PERMANENT?

​

Permanent jewellery is designed to stay on, but it is not irreversible. It can always be removed or re-welded if needed.

Think of it as long-lasting, not restrictive.​​​​​​​

 

 

 

APPOINTMENTS AND BOOKING​

How many welds are included in one 30 minute appointment?

Each appointment allows up to two welds.

​

​

​

This can be:

​

• Two pieces for one person, or

• One piece each for two people

​

Bringing your bestie or booking as a group?

Sharing an appointment is easy:

​

• 1 service = up to 2 people

• 2 services = up to 4 people

​

DO I NEED TO BOOK OR CAN I WALK IN?

 

​​

We recommend pre-booking to guarantee availability. Walk-ins may be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis depending on staff availability.

​

If there are no appointment slots available online, there will not be availability in-store that day.

How long is the appointment?

​

Each booking lasts 30 minutes and includes up to two welds within that time. There is no charge to book an appointment.

 

​

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS? 

​

Yes. We offer permanent jewellery to clients aged 10 and over.

Anyone under 13 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

​

​

IS THERE ANYONE WHO CANNOT HAVE PERMANENT JEWLLERY?

​

Unfortunately, we cannot offer this service to anyone with a pacemaker.

PERSONALISATION AND AFTERCARE 

 

 

​​CAN I PERSONALISE MY PIECE?

 

 

​Yes. Optional details such as initials, birthstones, or delicate charms can be added during your appointment, depending on availability. These are chosen for subtle personal meaning.

Can I add charms later?

Yes. You can continue to build on your original piece. Additional charms can be added and welded with no additional service charge, excluding the cost of the charm itself.

​​

WHERE CAN PERMANENT JEWELLERY BE WORN?

​​

​

​

Permanent jewellery can be fitted as a bracelet, anklet, or necklace, depending on chain style and suitability.

​​

​

​

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT GETS CAUGHT OR PULLED?

​​

 

Our welded jewellery is designed to snap under force to prevent injury. For this reason, take care to avoid snagging.

If your jewellery tangles with another item, such as another piece of jewellery or a hair tie, separate gently to avoid breakage.

WHAT IF I NEED TO REMOVE FOR MEDICAL REASONS?

​

 

If you’re required to remove your jewellery, it can be cut at the jump ring using wire cutters. Please keep the chain, as it can usually be re-welded in store at no charge.

​​

​

If you don’t have access to wire cutters, scissors can be used carefully, or you’re welcome to visit us and a member of our welding team can assist.

​

​

WILL MY PERMANENT JEWELLERY AFFECT AIRPORT SECURITY?

No. Permanent jewellery does not interfere with airport security or metal detectors.
You can travel as normal without needing to remove your piece.

WARRANTY AND RETURNS

​

What is the warranty on welded jewellery?

We offer a 1-year warranty on welded jewellery, with a 3-month guarantee. If your bracelet breaks within this initial period, it will be exchanged free of charge.

​​

​

CAN I RETURN WELDED JEWELLERY?

​

​

Due to the personalised nature of welded jewellery, we do not offer returns.

​

​

WHAT IF MY JEWELLERY BREAKS AFTER THE WARRANTY PERIOD?

​​

​

We’re always happy to assess your piece in studio. In many cases, re-welding can be done quickly and at a minimal cost.​​​
